Our Services

Property Claim Service can help you or your clients comply with the requirement to provide an inventory and valuation of the Coverage C portion of your insurance claim. This includes what we call “contents” or “personal property.”

What is contents or personal property?
It includes things like:

  • Furniture
  • Clothing
  • Dishes, Silverware & Cookware
  • Computers and Printers
  • Jewelry
  • Books
  • Sound Systems
  • Artwork
  • Décor Items
  • And more …

When you experience a fire, hurricane, or tornado, you are often left dealing with your personal property on your own.  Your adjuster or contractor can provide you with a damage estimate for your home, but what do you do when you have significant damage to your personal property, as well, and your insurance policy states it is your responsibility to provide a list of everything you lost? That’s where we can help you.

We work directly with homeowners, attorneys or public adjusters, if they’ve retained one, to help compile an inventory and valuation for everything that was lost.

We also frequently get client referrals from restoration contractors, who know their clients need a non-salvageable inventory to provide to their insurance carrier in order to receive payment for this portion of the claim.

NON-SALVAGEABLE CONTENTS INVENTORY

One of the conditions of your insurance policy is to create an inventory of all the damaged personal property items, along with attributing a valuation to each item. Typically, when people have experienced an insurance loss, they are overwhelmed by this policy condition.

That’s where we can come in. Our unique “Memory Jogger™” system will help you remember all the things you lost.  It’s very different from just grabbing a notepad and trying to list all your lost items.  We’ve done that before and, invariably, many items are forgotten and are never included in the list.

Once we work together to compile your exhaustive list, we’ll begin to apply a value to each item.

We are very experienced in creating non-salvageable inventory lists that either you, your attorney, or your public adjuster can submit to your insurance company for payment.  Our inventory lists use real-world pricing, with links for each item, so you’re unlikely to get much push back from your insurance company’s adjuster.  This leads to quicker payments from your insurance company.

OUR UNIQUE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO CAPTURE EVERYTHING YOU LOST

Most of the time, policyholders who have had a total loss (fire, tornado, or hurricane) leave a lot of money on the table because many items never make it onto the Non-Salvageable Inventory List. Millions of dollars slip through the cracks every year - simply because policyholders don't remember them.

Our unique Memory Jogger™ System assists our clients in remembering every single item they lost in their fire, hurricane, or tornado claim, ensuring that all their personal property items are accounted for.

NEGOTIATION & SETTLEMENT

We are not adjusters, so all negotiations and settlement discussions with your insurance company will need to be done by either you, or your attorney or public adjuster, if you've retained one.

However, we will create your itemized personal property inventory so that it will be complete and ready for your approval and submission to your insurance company for payment.

If there are any questions about your inventory, we are happy to answer them at any time.

If you find you need assistance (or you just have questions), please reach out to us for a free consultation at (602) 661-9086.

WE ARE A 100% VIRTUAL COMPANY

Like so many other industries, we have gone to a 100% virtual model. For this reason, we only work with clients who have had large loss fire, hurricanes, or tornado claims that do not require on-site inspections to document damaged personal property. We will ask for overview photos of the loss (if it's possible), but we'll never need anything more than that.

Typically, our clients provide photos of each of the affected rooms (if it's possible and safe to do so) and we gather the remainder of the information we need using our unique Memory Jogger™ system.
